Carp – Below the Surface
1:06:30
This is a film about the basics of carp fishing. Different experienced carp fishermen will run through pre-baits, chumming, hook baits and tackles. Everything is shown and explained in minute detail.
NB - In GERMAN with ENGLISH Subtitles. We will be concentrating on the underwater elements of the fishing. In most of our fishing situations, we have had an underwater camera placed in the chumming area. We will see carp entering the chumming area – and we will see how they react on the pre-bait and hook baits. These sequences will be interesting to very experienced carp fishermen, too.
Other species of fish enter the chumming areas too, and we see tench, roach, perch, and bream – and even spectacular footage of a pike. Apart from that, the film is full of beautiful scenery, moods, and carp catches.
In this hour and half film one of the UK's top carp fishing coaches Ian MacMillan shares his wealth of knowledge on carp fishing. Filmed at a private syndicate lake, known to hold stunning carp, there's no better looking instructional film available.
Ian covers all the topics that he gets asked about most often, from spooling a reel to fish handling and care. With several fish in the net over the course of the film, there's a great mix of hints and tips and fishing action.
